Workshop Description Transport Canada’s Company Aviation Safety Officer (CASO) programme is designed to develop company Safety Officers with training focusing on the identification and analysis of safety hazards in their operation and quickly identifying possible solutions for correction and management. Given the increasing move toward making Safety Management Systems (SMS) a regulatory requirement in many countries (already in Canada) it is clear that the CASO programme is a worthwhile and essential element of a company’s operation. Further, the CASO programme can easily be integrated into a company's SMS programme. Dutcher Safety and Meteorology Services can deliver the Transport Canada CASO training programme with the ability to tailor the course to the company increasing success of training. Beside the Transport Canada CASO programme, a course can also be developed for operators in other countries. Course Outline
